As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
Your main duties will include taking food and drink orders, delivering orders to tables, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their meal.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner - Present menus and answer any questions regarding menu items - Take food and drink orders accurately - Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals - Serve food and beverages to guests - Check on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction with their meals - Clear tables and clean dining area after guests have finished their meals - Provide assistance to other staff members as needed Skills:
- Food preparation:
Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is preferred.
- Food safety:
Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
- Aloha POS/POS:
Experience with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Guest services:
Strong customer service skills are necessary to provide a positive dining experience for our guests.
- Food handling:
Understanding proper food handling procedures is crucial to maintain food quality and safety standards.
- Upselling:
Ability to suggest additional menu items or upsell specials to increase sales.
- Cash register:
Proficiency in operating a cash register or handling cash transactions accurately.
- Math:
Basic math skills are required for calculating bills, making change, and splitting checks.
